UNICON International, Inc. has been awarded a contract to develop a Purchasing Database for a large local international manufacturer. This database will utilize a numeric formula-based scoring system to provide a quantitative evaluation of the services provided by a number of suppliers in order to assist with daily purchasing functions. When completed, the module will provide a consolidated data repository for these evaluations, as well as reporting functions depicting meaningful analyses of these evaluations.

This project marks the continuation of UNICON’s partnership with this particular customer, a partnership that has blossomed over a relatively short period of time but has proven greatly beneficial to both organizations. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to once again surpass their needs,” says Peichen Jane Lee, UNICON’s President, “and look forward to servicing them well into the future!” This contract was awarded on the 16th of January and marks the first major win of 2004 for UNICON.
